Page One | Page Two Our friends "The Outlaws" Blu-J. Blu-J has been on the farm for years. As a small chick he was attacked by Blue Jays and lost his left eye. He's our head rooster in charge and does a mighty job protecting his flock from predators. Blu-J is a Barred Rock / Dominique cross. |

Barnyard. Hatched here on the farm in June. "Barny" is a cross between one of our lovely ladies and a certain rooster named Blu-J. Since he's a "barnyard" bird, we're not exactly sure of his heritage. He has a great temperament and likes to spend his days in the pasture with the horses. FNU (First name unknown). This handsome fella is an Ameraucana. We ordered a batch of Ameraucana chicks and he was our special present in the pack. He's gorgeous with his snow white feathering and his moss green shanks. This guy is currently accepting ideas on a name. Shoot us an e-mail with your name ideas. As it stands we call him F.N.U. Thanksgiving and Christmas. These Bronze Breasted Turkeys were hatched in April of 2008. To date, they are still on the farm and we are considering changing their names to something a bit more permanent. If you've got any great name ideas, please feel free to shoot us an e-mail.
